I Am Not My Hair 💇🏾♀️
Okay y'all this Blog is going to be a lil' different! I know how much y'all love Dream Writer💖 and her dope gems she drops, but I wanted to write this week's blog in honor of new beginning! Don't worry, she'll be back next week!
So those of you who follow my socials know that I have made some changes to my hair. Some huge changes and I wanted to answer some questions a lot of people have ask me.
Why?
The most asked one is why. So many factors played a part in that answer. I had my locs for 9 years and I started them when I was with my son's Dad. We started them together. I had always wanted locs anyway so, I decided to go for it. We ended up parting ways and so I felt kind of tied to him in a way and wanted a fresh start.
One of the larger reasons is because my focus this year is on my business. I've never had a year to just go hard in my business and see what this product collection can become. I want to finally give it my all so I can see if this is really a dream or just a hobby. There's no better way to build trust in a product than to say, "hey look at this. I can cut all of my hair off and grow it back with this product. Follow my journey!"
We live in a world where people scam a lot and word is no longer bond. You have to have proof something will do what you say it does and that's very understandable. My goal with this hair transformation is to build trust in my products, my brand, and what I stand for; beauty naturally redefined. That's not simply outside beauty: long hair, clear skin, in shape body. It's also about what we put in our bodies and how we feel about ourselves.
My goal for this year is simple. Go get it and don't stop until it's gotten. I want everyone I touch to be healthier, overall.
I also started an affiliate Tik Tok account where I'm showing you how to make healthy choices when it comes to food, products, skin and hair care health. I give so many free tips and DIYs that you would love it. It's another extension of growing my company for the health of all. I will also share my hair growth journey on that account as well.
So when you see your girl out and about with this natural hair cheer me up because I feel so baldheaded 🤣😭 but I'll get past it soon with my hair growth oil! Shameless plug for real, but I'll add the link below so you can check it out 👀
